content policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This policy applies to everything created or submitted through wave.baby (the "Platform") — images, text, audio, names, symbols, and any other content. It is part of our Terms of Service. Each edition may add its own format rules, shown before you create.
Our default is permissive. The Platform does not curate taste: what succeeds or fails is decided by the market, not by us. The rules below exist because some content is illegal, dangerous, or makes the Platform unusable for everyone else — not because we want to police expression.
Never allowed
The following are removed and blocked wherever we detect them, without exception:
- 1.Sexual content involving minors, in any form — including drawn, stylized, or AI-generated depictions.
- 2.Terrorism and violence — direct incitement to violence against people, promotion of terrorism, glorification of crimes against humanity, genocide denial, or incitement to hatred against people based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
- 3.Encouragement of suicide or self-harm.
- 4.Doxxing — publishing personal information about someone (address, phone number, private identity, or the real identity of a pseudonymous person).
- 5.Sexualized depictions of real, identifiable persons — including AI-generated or "deepfake" content.
- 6.Content targeting private individuals — using a private person as the subject of a token or its content. Public figures are fair game for satire and caricature; your neighbor is not. Removable on report.
- 7.Phishing, malware, and technical deception — content designed to steal credentials or funds, deliver malicious code, or deceive users technically.
- 8.Impersonation — passing content off as created, endorsed, or operated by the Platform, or presenting a token as "official" to any person or organization without authorization.
- 9.Sanctioned persons and entities — content promoting or benefiting persons or entities under international sanctions.
- 10.Sale or solicitation of illegal goods or services. Cultural references are not sales.
Intellectual property
We do not proactively police third-party intellectual property in user content. If you own rights and believe content on the Platform infringes them, notify us at the address below with enough detail to identify the content and your rights; we review serious notices and remove infringing content. Repeated infringers may be blocked.
Financial claims
Prohibited financial claims and promotion rules for creators (profit promises, roadmaps, "official token" claims, market manipulation) are defined in Section 6 of the Terms of Service and are part of this policy.
What we do not moderate
Vulgarity, bad taste, dark humor, offensive content that targets no one, cynicism, strong political opinions — and criticism or parody of the Platform itself. We also never remove content for being low-effort or ugly: quality is the market's problem, not ours.
How this is enforced
- —Before creation : submissions are validated against the active edition's rules and this policy. Some checks are automated, including AI-based review. Detected violations are blocked before the token exists.
- —After creation : content found to violate this policy is delisted — removed from the Platform's interface. Delisting is off-chain only: we cannot alter, freeze, or delete anything published on the blockchain or IPFS, which are public and permanent. This is why rules are enforced before creation wherever possible.
- —Discretion : we may remove any content that creates a serious risk to people's safety or to the Platform, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We have no obligation to monitor content and no liability for content we did not remove.
- —Reports : report content at contact@wave.baby. We review reports; we do not commit to individual responses or timelines.
Changes
We may update this policy at any time; the "last updated" date will change. Edition-specific rules are shown when each edition opens.
