what is this?

a creative space for launching tokens on solana. tokens with rules: instead of an always-open launchpad, wave.baby opens time-limited editions. each edition sets one creative rule — a constraint or format defined by the platform. while an edition is open, anyone eligible can create and launch a token within that rule. when it closes, no new tokens can join it.

when is the next edition?

the rule of an edition is revealed when it opens. future editions are never announced in advance.

how do i create a token?

the site opens directly on the creation tool of the active edition — the tool changes with each edition. connect a solana wallet, create within the rule, preview your token (name and symbol are final once set), and launch by signing a transaction. launching a token means accepting the terms of service, the privacy policy and the content policy.

does it cost anything?

wave.baby charges nothing to create. launching a token only carries the usual on-chain costs — solana network fees and rent, paid to the network, not to us.

can i create more than one token?

yes, as many as you want — unless the edition says otherwise.

where do tokens trade?

not here. wave.baby is not an exchange and has no built-in trading. tokens trade on independent third-party protocols on solana. wave.baby is non-custodial: it never holds your funds.

what is graduation?

every token launches on a bonding curve, on public infrastructure (meteora), with the same parameters as every other token launched in its edition. when the curve collects 85 SOL, the token graduates automatically: its liquidity moves into a permanent pool and is locked forever. nobody can ever withdraw it. only the fees it generates are claimable.

who gets the fees?

every trade carries an on-chain fee: 2% on the bonding curve, decreasing toward roughly 1% as market cap grows after graduation. after the protocol's share, the fee is split 50/50 between the token's creator and the platform. fees accrue automatically in SOL for the life of the token; your account page lists the tokens you launched and lets you claim anytime — with no guarantee that any fee will ever be generated.

what can wave.baby change after a token is launched?

nothing. a token's parameters are written on-chain at creation and immutable: we can't change its fees, touch its liquidity, or edit its name, symbol or image. neither can its creator. parameters like fees or thresholds may evolve for future tokens — never for a token that already exists. the platform's only revenue is its share of trading fees.

can a token be removed?

tokens are user-generated. wave.baby sets the rule of each edition but doesn't endorse, rank or recommend any token. a public content policy defines prohibited content, and we can delist any token from the site at any time. delisting only removes it from our interface — the token itself lives on-chain and is permanent. anything published on-chain or on ipfs is public and irreversible.

is there a wave.baby token?

no — every token on wave.baby is created by a user, inside an edition. the platform itself has no token and never sells anything; its only revenue is its share of trading fees. anything presenting itself as an "official" wave.baby token is fake.

who can create?

token creation is not available from the european union, the united kingdom, or sanctioned jurisdictions. browsing the site is open everywhere except sanctioned jurisdictions.

what are the risks?

memecoins are extremely volatile and most lose their value. any market data shown on the site, such as market cap, is factual information — not a recommendation. anyone interacting with tokens can lose everything they put in.
